Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the Departments that has been started at the time of inception of MALLA REDDY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (MRCE) in 2005 with an intake of 60. Currently the annual intake is 120, besides an additional 10% under Lateral entry scheme. The Department was accredited by NBA in 2017 and Re-accredited in 2020.

The Department has well-equipped laboratories with computational facilities, resources both in terms of hardware and software for Basic Simulation, Electronic Circuits and Pulse Circuits, VLSI System Design, Digital Signal Processing, Microwave Engineering and Digital Communications.

The strengths of the Department are meritorious students, well qualified dynamic & young Professors with different specializations, industrious academic assistants.

Electronics and Communication Engineering Department has the most advanced and aesthetically created infrastructural facilities in the campus which includes an exclusive auditorium, a Department Library and R & D facilities.

The Department of ECE offers value-added courses in order to meet current industry needs. The Convergence technical club of the Department trains students on different modules like, MATLAB, Embedded Systems, Programming Skills and IOT.

The Department is a beehive of academic activity and instrumental in creating successful careers for many students. The Department has strong industry interaction and MOU’s with more than 20 core industries. The students are sent on internships leading to placements in core industries through the Industry Institution Interaction Cell.

The Department produces engineering graduates with multi-disciplinary knowledge. Among the past three batches of students who walked out of the portals of the institute successfully, holding their degrees, were placed in reputed MNCs.
